(Patria) - Helem Nejse – a Sarajevo youth organization involved in music, radio, and theatre production will perform on Monday, July 18, on the Theatre Square - Susan Sontag. The concert is part of the Baščaršijske noći Festival, and admission is free.
After three long years, Helem Nejse will hold a solo concert in Sarajevo. After reshaping genre boundaries by performing at the National Theatre at Red Bull Symphonic with the accompaniment of the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra, the creators of the animated series Bruca Braca Bruda Brada decided to "repay the sound debt" to the audience and break the silence that the pandemic had imposed.
"It's been three years since our last concert in Sarajevo, largely due to the pandemic. Now we are ready to play a full concert for our Sarajevans at a top-notch location. What we can promise is a top-notch audio-visual spectacle with properly dressed performers," comment the members of Helem Nejse in their style.
Along with Helem Nejse, DJ set by their colleague Ajdo Činjenica will get the audience dancing from 7:00 PM in front of the National Theatre, and from 8:00 PM, rapper Nešela, who recently released her debut EP "Duhovna Erotika," will perform.
The group Helem Nejse will perform at 8:45 PM.
The music group Helem Nejse was formed in 2014 and consists of members; Admir Čular (Čika Gagara), Amer Čanković (Stihomir Klepić), and Tihomir Radić (Toshi Domaćin). They have millions of views on the YouTube platform. They gained the greatest popularity after releasing the singles: Kabadahija (duet with Marko Louis), Pionirska (duet with Dubioza Kolektiv). They combine hip-hop, rap, electro, and reggae, and their song lyrics address the political-social issues of everyday life through satire. The last studio album by Helem Nejse, titled "Gluten Tag," was released in 2020.
Traffic Regime Change
The Ministry of Transport of Sarajevo Canton has given consent to the Bosnian Cultural Center KS for a temporary change in the traffic regime in Branilaca Sarajeva and Kulovića streets on Monday, July 18, 2022.
The temporary traffic regime change consists of a complete traffic suspension on July 18, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, except for visibly marked and/or announced vehicles of the organizer, and vehicles referred to in Articles 125 and 126 of the Law on Basic Road Traffic Safety in BiH in the following streets:
- Branilaca Sarajeva - on the section from the intersection with Ćemaluša street to the intersection with Radićeva street,
- Kulovića on the section from the intersection with Obala Kulina bana street to the intersection with Maršala Tita street.
Traffic flow regulation in the area of complete traffic suspension will be carried out by organizers' marshals, with the assistance of members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
Ćemaluša street will be temporarily converted into a one-way street in the opposite direction of regular traffic flow during the suspension. Parking will be prohibited in this street, and incoming traffic from Branilaca Sarajeva street will be redirected right onto Ćemaluša street towards Titova street.
Alternative routes for movement in the area of complete traffic suspension are the roadways that intersect with the suspended ones.
The taxi stand on Branilaca Sarajeva street in the immediate vicinity of the National Theatre will be relocated to the nearest adjacent stand during the traffic regime change.
Also, for the functional and safe flow of traffic, during the approved period, it is necessary to temporarily relocate the Dom Armije terminal and ensure the presence of the competent service of all public passenger transport operators, who will implement changes to the public transport line routes.
