
(Patria) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, had a phone conversation today, March 10, 2025, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Hakan Fidan.
During the conversation, Minister Konaković informed the Turkish minister about the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, highlighting the challenges and efforts the country is making to preserve stability and progress towards European integration.
Minister Fidan expressed strong support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina, emphasizing that Turkey knows the situation in BiH very well and closely follows developments in the country.
Minister Fidan also pointed out that Turkey, as a country with significant influence in the region, continuously strives to preserve peace and stability in the Western Balkans, through dialogue and cooperation with regional decision-makers.
At the end of the conversation, Minister Fidan invited Minister Konaković to participate in this year's Antalya Diplomacy Forum, which Minister Konaković gladly accepted and confirmed his attendance.
Minister Konaković thanked Minister Fidan for the continuous support and friendship between the two countries, and emphasized the importance of further strengthening bilateral relations.
