Konaković: I will file a criminal complaint against Čavaljuga, NATO cannot dismiss Sebija Izetbegović

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in Sarajevo, Semra Čavaljuga, exceeded the financial plan by one million KM and distributed it for salaries outside the budget; exceeding the financial plan is a criminal offense, and if no one else does, I will file a criminal complaint for this act today. 

This was announced today in Sarajevo by the Speaker of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly at a press conference dedicated to the Proposal for Amendments to the Law on Higher Education. 

"We will unpack the story of crime at the Faculty of Medicine, with full support from the bodies of the University of Sarajevo, which are the Rector and the Senate," said the Speaker of the KS Assembly.

He stated that the amendments to the Law on Higher Education are being considered at the request of the UNSA Senate, emphasizing that there are several reasons for this.

Konaković also touched upon the "expulsion of proven medical experts from KCUS". 

He also commented on the work of the Director of KCUS, Sebija Izetbegović, and stated that it is impossible to dismiss her. 

''Even NATO cannot dismiss her, because she has 5,000 kamikazes around her ready to detonate themselves for her to remain the director of the Clinical Center. We are aware of that,'' he stressed.

"In Sarajevo, you can only teach at KCUS if you are an employee of KCUS. This is how Izetbegović found a way to drive away Ismet Gavrankapetanović, Kacila, Velija Zelija, Nabil, Kemal Dizdarević, a number of excellent doctors who everyone is looking for, and they can no longer be found at KCUS, nor at the Faculty of Medicine," said Konaković.
