Konaković - once a regime, always a regime: NiP's state for crime and corruption, and prison for the people and the opposition!

"This is a country where Fikret Dedić, a fighter from Bužim, was sentenced to six months in prison for three cubic meters of wood he wanted to use to heat his children. He served two months, and paid the state 12,900 KM for the remainder of the sentence. Politicians also ended up in prison, but not those who steal or manage crime, but mostly their political rivals and opponents. There are no convictions for economic crime in the public sector, there are not even institutions that determine conflicts of interest in BiH.

We are the first country on corruption lists in Europe, politicians get rich quickly by entering parliaments and governments. Their assets grow at the same rate as the living conditions of ordinary citizens in BiH deteriorate.

Dizzily fast. Representatives of the judicial system get rich just as quickly, and strongly oppose the new law that would subject them to control of the origin of personal assets," said the Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmedin Konaković, formerly Konaković who, with such statements, gained the favor of foreign embassies, but also of citizens disappointed with the judicial system.

Konaković will admit in that year 2022 that the love between the political elite and corrupt representatives of the judiciary is flourishing.

"Anyone who points this out is immediately accused and called 'pressure on the judiciary'. Threats are also frequent that they will use mechanisms to stop such a narrative," Konaković used to say.

And then he got his way. His party colleagues, as well as others gathered around SDP and Naša stranka, began to live this life – full of love with representatives of the judiciary.

Political opponents ended up in prison, and compliant prosecutors gained Konaković's trust. Little by little, the 'hated' Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton was taken over from the even more hated SDA (whose members they were before moving to NIP), and now that Elvedin Okerić has been declared an innocent man for distributing hundreds of thousands of marks to associations where NIP members are, critics have breathed a sigh of relief.

First of all, Konaković, who freed himself from the 'regime'. He never admits that he was part of the previous regime, and the current one, and the people never get the much-desired amnesia.

So the love between the political elite and the judiciary blossomed. Matchmaker of love, prosecutor Sead Kreštalica, became a moral vertical according to NIP. Kreštalica concluded, based on the 'report and accompanying files', that Okerić did not commit a criminal offense.

Thus, Kreštalica, without taking any action, concluded that Okerić's allocation of several hundred thousand marks to associations founded by Narod i Pravda cadres is not a criminal offense.

And not so long ago, he was in the public spotlight due to the Dženan Memić case, about which NIP spoke the most until recently.

Sead Kreštalica will be appointed one of the deputy chief prosecutors of the KS Prosecutor's Office, and Muriz Memić, the father of the murdered young man Dženan Memić, immediately reacted.

Kreštalica was the prosecutor who represented the indictment of the KS Prosecutor's Office in two court proceedings for a traffic accident, along with several other prosecutors, against Ljuba and Bekrija Seferović, in the case of Dženan Memić's death.

We remind you that, more or less, due to manipulations around this case, which NIP previously attributed to 'SDA cadres', Arijana Memić, the sister of the late Dženan, left the NIP caucus in the KS Assembly.

Arijana then criticized the KS MUP commissioner, and now, surely, she has double satisfaction for her decision, after NIP elevates prosecutor Kreštalica to the pedestal of justice. And he, precisely in Konaković's view, is nothing but a regime servant.

And perhaps this case has completely exposed NIP's politics. We could also see from the example of public RTV systems what Konaković considers professionalism, responsibility, and democracy in the end, and truth.

"I expect a long-term solution to the accumulated problems facing public broadcasters in our country when people who act as the Three's policies demand of them sit in the management of both public broadcasters, FTV and BHRT," Konaković said.

Therefore, placing public broadcasters in our country under political control, placing the judiciary under political control, and media that only praise the government are exclusively in line with NIP and Konaković's way of doing things.

How those who think or speak differently fare can be seen in the case of investigations into the drug cartel 'Tito and Dino', and later the 'Black Tie' operation.

The scandalous attack by Elmedin Konaković on Avdo Avdić and the BiH Prosecutor's Office is still remembered. First, he publicly called on journalists to investigate every topic, and then he launched a brutal confrontation with those who write about NIP, connections with drug cartels, or corruption related to NIP cadres.

They were framing him then, but the time has come to unpack them, because they are, after all, the old/new regime, which will continue to send citizens to prison for cutting wood (because the law must be respected), but also political opponents, because there are those who protect the government - the judiciary!
