Konaković: Names of police agency leaders are speculation, we will support Lendo for FBiH Vice President

(Patria) - The presidents of the "Osamorka" parties held a meeting today at the SDP headquarters to discuss the establishment of government, the distribution of functions, and possible scenarios regarding the formation of the FBiH Government. 

The president of NIP, in his address to the media, stated that regarding the names of police agency leaders, it is a matter of "speculation from the media" and that they do not have any names yet. At last night's meeting in Lukavica, it was agreed that the parties gathered around SDP would hold the positions of OSA Director and DKPT Director, meaning each party would retain its positions as before, with some minor changes. 

Konaković stated that SDA has a majority in the Bosniak Caucus of the House of Peoples, and that they will support SDA's proposal for the President/Vice President of FBiH, Refik Lendo.

“The Federation is in a deadlock due to the changes to the Election Law by the High Representative. "Osamorka" remains at full capacity at that level (they do not have it at the state level, NES and SBiH left the coalition at the state level). We expect meetings with HDZ and that coalition to finalize details in order to establish government. SDA is committed to blockades, and we are committed to functioning, and I hope reason will prevail. I am not advocating for blocking their election, even though those votes were stolen, and I appeal to the Prosecutor's Office regarding that. Formally, there are 13 people there and they are legitimate, and the proposal that comes from SDA should be supported, and we will see if they will support this government. If he (Lendo) decides to try to keep this kind of Government and Novalić for the next period and place the responsibility for the delay in important reform processes on him”, said Konaković.
