Konaković and Mulabdić visit police officers who took part in capturing criminals from Vogošća

Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton Elmedin Konaković, together with Minister of Interior Vedran Mulabdić, visited the Police Administration and on that occasion spoke with police officers who took part in the operation to capture the criminal group that robbed the “Amko Komerc” facility in Vogošća.

- The safety of our citizens is one of the primary tasks of the system we manage. Your job is to do everything possible on the ground to protect their lives and property. You are doing one of the most difficult and most responsible jobs and you are exposed daily to the risk that your own life may be endangered. In the recent operation, you showed that even robbers armed with long-barreled weapons did not frighten you or deter you from performing your duty. For that, I congratulate you and thank you on behalf of all citizens of Sarajevo Canton - emphasized Prime Minister Konaković.

Minister Mulabdić announced that, within his authority and in accordance with procedures, he will adequately reward these brave men, for whom, as he said, he feels special honor and pride because he leads them. 

- You are certainly a role model for all current and future generations of police officers, and your courage is a guide for everyone who wants to honorably engage in this profession. Our job is difficult, we risk our lives, and not everyone can do this job. We are sending a message that criminal structures should fear law enforcement agencies - added Minister Mulabdić.
