SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Chairman of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić sent a telegram of condolences to US President Donald Trump.
"Your Excellency, on behalf of the Presidency and the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in my own name, I express the deepest and most sincere condolences to you, the American people, and especially to the families and friends of those killed during the attacks in El Paso and Dayton. These reckless and senseless acts of violence deserve the harshest punishment, and they remind us how precious and fragile every life is. Extreme ideologies deserve every condemnation, and we in Bosnia and Herzegovina will fully contribute to the fight against terrorism," the telegram reads.
It adds: "We stand in solidarity with and support the American people in these difficult moments, just as the American people have stood in solidarity with and supported the peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina countless times. Our thoughts and prayers are with the friends and families of the killed, and we wish all the injured a speedy and successful recovery."
