Komšić receives new Turkish Ambassador Emin Akseki on inaugural visit

(Patria) - Member of the Presidency of BiH Željko Komšić today received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Emin Akseki, on an inaugural visit.

Komšić welcomed the ambassador and emphasized that Turkey plays an extremely important role as a friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina, continuously working to preserve security and stability in the region.

Although bilateral relations are at an excellent level, there is always room for improvement, especially in the areas of investment and economic cooperation.

The ambassador conveyed greetings from the President and Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey, and expressed his desire for further improvement of relations between the two countries, which share many historical and cultural ties.
