SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Member of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić condemned the attack on Poland in which two people were killed.
"I most strongly condemn the Russian attacks that caused the deaths of two people in Poland. The fact of Russia's aggression against Ukraine now takes on an additional dimension, and points to the need to stop it before the conflict escalates on a European and global scale," Komšić stated.
A senior U.S. intelligence official said that Russian missiles hit eastern Poland and killed two people, the Associated Press reported, while the Pentagon for now says it has no information to confirm that these were Russian rockets.
NATO also commented on the incident.
NATO says it is reviewing reports that rockets or missiles fell on the member state Poland and is closely cooperating with Polish authorities. “We are reviewing these reports and closely coordinating with our ally Poland,” a NATO official told CNN.
