Komšić: We will never forget Senator Dole's support for BiH in its darkest moments

SARAJevo, (Patria) - On the occasion of the death of Senator Bob Dole, a great friend of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens, I extend my condolences to the President of the United States of America Joe Biden and the family of the deceased, said today the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Željko Komšić.

"The passing of Senator Dole is a great loss for freedom and democracy throughout the world, and especially for us in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We will never forget the great support that Senator Bob Dole provided to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina in its darkest moments and during the fight for its sovereignty and territorial integrity. Senator Bob Dole clearly distinguished between those fighting for an internationally recognized state and outlaws of international law, and he was one of the strongest voices for the truth of our just struggle," Komšić added in his message of condolence, concluding:

"We are grateful to him for countless times after the aggression against the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina pointing out all the destructiveness of destructive policies within Bosnia and Herzegovina that threatened the peace, security, and prosperity of citizens and the state."
