(Patria) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić attended the marking of the Police Day of the Una-Sana Canton in Bihać. Komšić said that the Una-Sana Canton finally has a stable government that is obliged to ensure a better material status for MUP members, as well as better training conditions.

He emphasized that all those engaged in public service, including the MUP of USK, are primarily obliged to prove themselves to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, not to the international community.

The BiH Presidency member stressed that the army reacts in emergencies, but the police react daily and are obliged to serve exclusively the citizens and the law. Komšić finally thanked the members of the MUP of USK for everything they do for the citizens of the Una-Sana Canton and the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, because what they do, as he said, is responsible, and sometimes dangerous.
