Željko Komšić, leader of DF, after a meeting with Bakir Izetbegović, Deputy President of SDA, attended by Dragan Čović, President of HDZ BiH, stated that they agreed on positions and that there were no major problems, at least as far as DF is concerned, reports the reporter of the BiH news agency Patria.
- A session of the Government could be held on Thursday or Friday, which will include five or six companies, including Aluminij and Elektroprivreda HZ HB, as well as some companies from the defense industry, and there will be discussions about dismissals in supervisory boards because you have to understand that, for example, the FBiH is a 44% owner of Aluminij, and we can only dismiss our part of the staff - Komšić said.
He explained that this is only the first round from the complete list of public companies that operated at a loss, and which the Financial Police will investigate concurrently with the staff dismissal processes.
- Minister Reuf Bajrović has already forwarded the list of companies that operated negatively to the Financial Police, and we know that there are already reports for these companies in cantonal prosecutor's offices, and we will ask what the prosecutors are doing with them.
I want to emphasize in particular that we will only address companies that operated at a loss, because you have, for example, EP BiH, which operates well and for which there is no need to seek any dismissals; let people work until their term expires - Komšić said.
He also pointed out, which was unknown to the public until now, that before the last session of the FBiH Government, a meeting was held attended by the Prime Minister and two ministers, one from SDA and one from HDZ, and allegedly, everything fell apart at that meeting.
- So, DF ministers were not even at that meeting; I was only surprised by the information that the ministers from HDZ left the Government session, and then I fully engaged in this problem, wanting to find out what was going on - Komšić pointed out.
The leader of DF also said that it is a kind of problem that 44% of Aluminij's ownership is registered in the name of the FBiH Government, and that the ownership structure of EP HZ HB is registered to the relevant ministry.
Dragan Čović, President of HDZ BiH, said that they agreed again today regarding the staffing of public companies at the FBiH level.
- I was at a meeting with Bakir Izetbegović and Željko Komšić today; they stayed at the meeting somewhat before me and somewhat longer after me, and the test of whether we have agreed will be seen at the first session of the Government, which will be held by Friday at the latest - Čović said.
He explained that they never asked for the dismissal of directors, but rather for what is stipulated by law, which is the dismissal of members of supervisory boards, and they later appoint directors and executive directors, i.e., management.
