Komšić and Džaferović with Kalabuhov: Russia supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of BiH

(Patria) - Chairman of the Presidency Željko Komšić and member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović received the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Kalabuhov.

The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to BiH Kalabuhov presented the response of the Russian Federation to the letter that the Chairman of the BiH Presidency Komšić and member of the BiH Presidency Džaferović sent to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, as the head of the member state of the Peace Implementation Council, regarding the current crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Ambassador stated that the Russian Federation fully supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Dayton Peace Agreement, and respects any solution that is agreed upon within Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Members of the BiH Presidency emphasized that no one has the right to destroy the state institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina through unilateral actions, which were formed in accordance with the clear provisions of the Dayton Agreement, and with the consent of all relevant representatives in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

Members of the Presidency also emphasized that the blockade of the work of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina is an anti-Dayton and undemocratic act that harms all citizens and the stability of the country.
