Komšić: Čović is a symbol of crime, opponents are trying to drag us into the mud through spin

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the president of the Democratic Front, Željko Komšić, reacted to the attacks coming from the HDZ and parts of the political structures in Sarajevo, which are trying to attribute the problems that have arisen in the SDA to the DF.

Responding to the statements of Dragan Čović, which are based on repeated lies, Komšić said: "Čović is a symbol of crime and the master of lies. He destroyed Aluminij and drove away workers, lying that he would solve the problems he created. What right does he have to talk about crime?", Komšić stated.

Commenting on the problems within the SDA and the attempt to attribute them to the DF, Komšić says: "Unfortunately, some media, as well as parties of the so-called 'Republic of Sarajevo', for daily political reasons and related interests, are distorting my statement about attempts to buy DF deputies by other political options, which has happened, and then making an impossible parallel with the case that is currently being discussed in public."

"When deputies and councilors were being taken away and attempts were made to take them away from the DF by offering money, unfortunately, some media, out of, to say the least, ignorance, helped in this, with stories about the collapse of the DF, especially before the last elections. It is complete cynicism to compare the attempts to buy DF deputies by other options, which was even celebrated at the time, with what is happening now. By doing so, they are forcibly trying to drag us in the DF and me personally into the mud, where we have never been nor will we ever be. However, in the end, these attempts will come to nothing, no matter how much individuals, and even some political organizations, spin and try to do so," Komšić concluded.
