Komšić congratulates Biden: We will strengthen our alliance in building a civic BiH

(Patria) - Željko Komšić, member of the BiH Presidency, congratulated Joe Biden, the new US President.

"I wish to convey my sincerest congratulations, on my behalf, and on behalf of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on assuming the duties of President of the United States of America.

I received the news of your victory in the elections with great joy, and today, together with a large number of citizens, I rejoice at the beginning of your term, in which America, I am sure, will once again lead positive changes on the international stage, and Bosnia and Herzegovina will have a great, proven friend in the White House.

Encouraged by the beginning of your administration's work, we will make additional efforts to strengthen relations between our two countries, solidify our alliance, and accelerate Bosnia and Herzegovina's path towards a modern, civic state, where everyone has equal rights regardless of their faith or ethnic affiliation, following the example of the United States of America.

I wish you much luck and success in your work, and knowing your strength, patience, and understanding that you have always shown to others, I am convinced that you will overcome all the challenges that await you," stated Komšić.
