Company Sprind celebrates 40 successful years of business

(Patria) - Although it has existed since 1952 as „Ilidžanska rosa“, one of the leading food industries, it celebrates its birthday from 1982 when it was named Sprind (Sarajevska Prehrambena
Industrija). Today, it ranks among the largest food producers in Bosnia and Herzegovina with an annual production of over 6,000 tons, and during the war period in BiH, Sprind was
under occupation during which material damage of about 16.5 million KM was caused.

In 1996, it "rose" again and renewed its production from the ground up. Years of dedicated work and struggle were needed to be able to boast today of state-of-the-art equipment for the production of all types of bread and pastries, semi-finished frozen foods, jufke, pasta, sandwiches, and confectionery products. Their mission is the production of original high-quality products that turn lunch preparation into satisfaction, and supreme flavors bring families together.

Last year, this BiH manufacturer successfully completed the process of implementing and certifying the requirements of the HALAL BAS 1049:2010 standard in its production facilities, in addition to the already established business process management systems based on the principles and requirements of the relevant international standards HACCP and ISO 9001:2015.
