NATO Headquarters Commander with Mašović: Armed Forces of BiH Ready to Assist Citizens Due to Coronavirus

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Brigadier General William Edwards, commander of NATO Headquarters Sarajevo, met today with Lieutenant General Senad Mašović, Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH. At the meeting, they discussed the current situation and activities in response to the spread of the COVID-19 virus. General Mašović expressed the readiness of the Armed Forces of BiH to make their resources available to domestic authorities once the Presidency of BiH makes such a decision.

Brigadier General Edwards said that the partnership of NATO Headquarters Sarajevo with the Armed Forces of BiH continues regardless of the current situation, and that the NATO Headquarters remains ready to provide support to the Armed Forces of BiH as they assist the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
