(Patria) - Due to the May Day holidays, vehicle traffic has increased on the roads in our country. We particularly highlight the section of the M-17 main road Bradina-Konjic where long queues of vehicles are forming. We also highlight the sections leading to local picnic spots, as well as border crossings.
"Currently, vehicle traffic is increased at the exit from BiH at the border crossings: Bosanska Gradiška, Donja Gradina, Doljani, and Gabela Polje. At other border crossings, delays are currently no longer than 30 minutes.
The road surface is predominantly wet and slippery, so we advise more cautious driving, adapted to the current situation and road conditions. Due to the May 1st holiday, until midnight tomorrow, the transport of explosives is prohibited in Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the holidays, the scope of repair works, which cause changes in traffic regimes, is reduced. We note that delays are possible at locations where temporary signage has been installed, the observance of which is legally mandatory.
We highlight the works in the Vranduk II tunnel, on the M-17 Zenica-Nemila main road, where traffic is alternating in one lane. During the day, due to increased vehicle traffic on this section, long queues are forming in both directions.
For safety reasons, traffic for trucks and buses has been suspended on the roads to and from the Brčko-Gunja border crossing bridge," announced BIHAMK.
