SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Candidate for President of the Republic of Croatia and current Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović is visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina today, but it is not an official visit and it is not Sarajevo, which she is avoiding by a wide margin.
She will visit Bugojno and Vitez. As announced, Grabar-Kitarović will visit the Bugojno Deanery in the parish of Skopaljska Gračanica, the village of Humac, at 5 PM, where she will meet with priests, HDZ BiH officials, veterans, and the Croatian people from the Bugojno and Vitez areas.
After that, Grabar-Kitarović will visit Vitez where she will attend the play "Šmizle" performed by the City Youth Theatre "Vitez". The play starts at 6:30 PM and will be performed in the Theatre Hall in Vitez, announced the Cantonal Board of HDZ BiH SBK.
It is interesting that Grabar Kitarović is not afraid of extremists she intensely talks about, and she will even be among the people publicly! French President Emmanuel Macron also skillfully uses her rhetoric about alleged terrorists in BiH.
Kitarović bypassed Herzegovina, possibly due to posters that negatively depicted Grabar Kitarović's character and work, which appeared on the streets of Livno, Tomislavgrad, Grude, Čitluk, Mostar, Posušje, Široki Brijeg…
Croatia will elect its president on December 22nd this year, and as in all previous years, the election campaign has "spilled over" into Bosnia and Herzegovina. Admittedly, in reverse order, but by no means outside the territory they consider the "third entity".
The reason for Herzegovina's reaction to the elections in Croatia, as well as Kolinda's current ignorance of Herzegovina, is not known, but Grabar Kitarović seems to have been mistaken with the saying "from Vis to Kupres". It seems that Herzegovina has returned to Bosnia.
According to the latest public opinion polls, Grabar Kitarović, the HDZ candidate, is in the lead with 28.6 percent support. She is followed by the left's hope Zoran Milanović with 24.3 percent, and Kolinda's biggest rival in Herzegovina, singer Miroslav Škoro, with 16.7.
