SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The president of Our Party, Predrag Kojović, said that he supports the BiH Presidency member Željko Komšić, who stated that he will not support the appointment of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Zoran Tegeltija, until the Annual National Programme for NATO is adopted, which the Alliance has requested from Bosnia and Herzegovina as a new step for the country towards NATO membership.
“This is not about an individual name, in terms of who will be that person from SNSD who will be the Chairman of the Council of Ministers. Whoever it is, they must accept that NATO membership for Bosnia and Herzegovina is vital for BiH, even more vital than European integration processes, and we will certainly not raise our hand for someone who does not accept previously made decisions and the commitment for BiH to become part of a military organization that will guarantee BiH's borders in their current form,” said Kojović.
Komšić previously stated that his condition for supporting the appointment of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Zoran Tegeltija, as a member of the BiH Presidency, is the adoption of the Annual National Programme for NATO.
A meeting of the BH bloc was held today in Sarajevo, where the presidents of SDP, DF, and Our Party, Nermin Nikšić, Željko Komšić, and Predrag Kojović, discussed the future actions of that bloc.
