Who is Zubac warning to get away by announcing arrests?

Goran Zubac, director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) did not want to provide any information related to last week's "Damask" operation in which 16 members of the Wahhabi movement, suspected of terrorism, were arrested.

He briefly told reporters that "next week will see a new SIPA operation and new arrests," writes Patria.  

The announcement by the head of SIPA about new operations expected this week is either extremely careless or deliberately made and sent as a message to those who are allegedly supposed to be arrested.

By revealing to the public that SIPA is preparing an operation, which even laymen know is kept in strict secrecy until the last moment, Zubac, with all the previous failures he has made as director of SIPA, has once again proven that he is not up to the position.

Or, he is indeed up to it, but in the context of the connections of certain political and criminal structures in this country, which he is protecting with such public appearances.

It is becoming clearer every day that he is kept in the position of director, despite the indictment against him and the pending trial at the Court of BiH, and having been stripped of access to classified information in the meantime, solely and exclusively due to politics.

It is an open secret that he took this position as a protégé of Milorad Dodik.  

As a reminder, Zubac is accused of dereliction of duty because, during the mass demonstrations on February 7, he ignored requests for assistance in protecting the BiH Presidency building made by the then director of the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, Himzo Selimović, and refused to engage the Special Unit of SIPA.

Before taking over as director of SIPA, Zubac headed the police in Trebinje.
