(Patria) - A motorcyclist died in a traffic accident that occurred this morning around 9 AM on the regional road Živinice - Lukavac, in the village of Priluk.
A driver of a passenger vehicle, a VW Passat, was also involved in the crash.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton (MUP TK) stated that the motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries in the accident and was transported by ambulance from the Živinice Health Center to the University Clinical Center Tuzla (UKC Tuzla).
Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries despite receiving medical assistance.
Police officers from the Živinice Police Station and investigators from the Criminal Police Department of the Živinice Police Administration (OKP PU Živinice) are at the scene.
The duty prosecutor of the Tuzla Canton Prosecutor's Office has been informed of the incident and will visit the scene to supervise the investigation.
Traffic at the mentioned location has been suspended since 9:45 AM until the completion of the investigation.
