53-year-old man killed near Žepče

This morning around five o'clock, Hasan Š. (53) was killed on the M17 road section Žepče - Nemila in the village of Begov Han, when a large amount of rocks and earth suddenly collapsed onto the road and the car Hasan was driving, reports Zepce.ba, according to the Patria agency. He died at the scene.

Police and firefighters managed to remove the vehicle from the accident site, and adequate machinery is expected to arrive to clear the collapsed rocks and earth from the road.

Due to the activated landslide, traffic has been completely suspended since 04:40 this morning at the Begov Han location on the M-17 main road Žepče-Nemila. Traffic has been rerouted via the alternative route through Kovačevići.
