More than six kilos of drugs, weapons, and ammunition found on arrested dealers

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In an operation by the Department for Combating Narcotic Drug Abuse - Criminal Police Sector, Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior Police Administration, codenamed "TVOR", under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, four individuals were arrested: S.V., born in 1987 in Višegrad, N.M., born in 1972 in Sarajevo, K.H., born in 1975 in Sarajevo, and H.B., born in 1985 in Sarajevo, all residing in Sarajevo, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they have committed criminal offenses under Article 238, Paragraph 1 (Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs) in conjunction with Article 31 (Complicity) of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Article 74, Paragraph 1, Point a. of the Law on Narcotic Drug Abuse, Psychotropic Substances and Precursors of Sarajevo Canton.

By order of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, searches were carried out on the mentioned individuals, a passenger motor vehicle used by N.M., as well as residential buildings they use. During the search, approximately 6.1 kilograms of dry herbaceous matter resembling the narcotic drug marijuana, approximately 103 grams of matter resembling the narcotic drug amphetamine sulfate/speed, 6 tablets resembling the narcotic drug ecstasy, one pistol, 99 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, a certain amount of money in various currencies, 10 mobile phones, and equipment for repackaging narcotic drugs (digital scales, etc.) were found and confiscated.

The arrested individuals were handed over to the premises of the Unit for Security of Facilities and Detention of Detained Persons of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior and will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton along with an official report on the committed criminal offenses.
