Military weapons found with murder suspect

Police officers from the Criminal Police Sector of the Public Security Center Prijedor, while working on documenting and completing the criminal offense of murder, which was committed on May 24 this year in the village of Ništavci, city of Prijedor, conducted a criminal investigation of D.S. (1971) from Ništavci, reports the Patria News Agency.

During the criminal investigation, he handed over a certain amount of military weapons to the police officers, which were hidden in the yard of the family home of D.S. (1974), the suspect in the murder.

Police officers temporarily seized an automatic rifle, 14 mortar propellant charges, 2 magazines for an automatic rifle, 388 rounds of ammunition, 4 hand grenades, 5 rounds of practice ammunition, and a bayonet for an automatic rifle.

The completion and documentation of the case is underway, after which a report on the committed criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of weapons or explosives against D.S. (1974) will be submitted to the District Public Prosecutor's Office Banja Luka, Prijedor Branch Office, it was announced from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska.
