(Patria) - In Zavait near Foča, a ten-year-old child was killed in a passenger car when a local man, who is mentally ill, fired a firearm.
The murder occurred on the regional road Foča-Zavait-Čelebići – towards Pljevlja in Montenegro.
He is on the run and the police are searching for him. The police have blocked a wider area of Zavait and Čelebići. The man is reportedly surrounded but is resisting and shooting at the police.
All forces of the Foča Police Administration and the Gendarmerie are involved. The area of Čelebići and the road towards Pljevlja are blocked.
The duty prosecutor of the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Trebinje has been informed and is at the scene.
