
As part of activities aimed at suppressing and preventing the unauthorized possession, production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs, as well as prosecuting persons who commit these criminal offenses, police officers of the Tešanj Police Station obtained certain operational information that the person B.S. could be linked to drug abuse, the ZDK Ministry of Interior announced, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria.
- In accordance with the collected operational information, and based on a warrant from the Municipal Court in Tešanj, on December 4, 2015, in Titova Street in the town of Jelah, a search was conducted of the house used by the said person. During the search, police officers found six PVC foil packages containing a white powdery substance resembling the narcotic drug "Speed". The disputed substance was temporarily seized and will be subject to expert examination.
After the search was completed, the person B.S. was deprived of liberty and taken to the official premises of the Tešanj Police Station, where a criminal investigation was initiated against him.
After collecting evidence and documenting the criminal offense, the Tešanj Police Station will submit a Report on the committed criminal offense and the detection of the perpetrator to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Zenica-Doboj Canton against B.S., born in 1982, from Tešanj, due to reasonable suspicion that she committed the criminal offense of "Unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs" under Article 238, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
