Drugs found on 28-year-old

Last night at 11:10 PM, police officers from the Department for Combating Narcotic Drug Abuse of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton arrested S.N., born in 1987 in Sarajevo, where he resides, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs under Article 238, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

A personal search, as well as a search of the apartment and other premises used by the suspect in Enver Šehović Street, Novo Sarajevo Municipality, resulted in the discovery and seizure of:

- 22 small packages containing a herbal substance resembling the narcotic drug marijuana,

- one small package containing a substance resembling the narcotic drug amphetamine,

- a digital scale,

- one grinder,

- paraphernalia for repackaging drugs,

- one mobile phone, and

- a certain amount of money likely derived from drug dealing.

The Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed of the above, and S.N. was handed over to the Department for Detaining Persons Deprived of Liberty of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton. Police officers are continuing their work to shed light on and document the criminal activities of the said individual.
