Kocijančič: Another call for Kosovo to abolish tariffs on goods from Serbia and BiH

PRISTINA, (Patria)  - European Commission spokesperson Maja Kocijančič stated that the EU, together with the US and other countries, has once again called on the Government of Kosovo to abolish tariffs on goods coming from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, adding that this measure distracts from the dialogue and Pristina's path towards the EU.

“The EU, together with the US and other countries, is addressing the Kosovo government to stop the taxes so that the dialogue can continue. The status quo is not an option, and there are no other possibilities for a faster continuation of the dialogue between the two sides. The tariff not only hinders the dialogue but distracts from Kosovo's European path ”, Kocijančič emphasized in a statement to the Kosovo newspaper “Zeri”, RTK2 reports.
