Who are the arrested in the SIPA operation: Committed crimes in Doboj, Derventa, Modriča...

Members of the Agency for Investigations and Protection of BiH (SIPA) today arrested 13 individuals suspected of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in 1992 in the areas of Doboj and Teslić, it was announced from the BiH Prosecutor's Office, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

Among the arrested is Andrija Bjelošević, former head of the police in the Doboj region, as well as his assistant Milan Savić. Bjelošević became known to the public after testifying in 2011 at the trial of former police officials in Republika Srpska. Bjelošević testified at the request of the defense of Mićo Stanišić, former Minister of Police of RS, who, along with Stojan Župljanin, is charged with crimes against Croats and Muslims committed in 1992 throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Among the arrested are Dušan Kuzmanović, Predrag Markočević, and Marinko Đukić. Also arrested were Dobrivoje Ćulibrk, Dario Slavuljica, Saša Gavranović, Predrag Subotić, Vitomir Dević...

All of them are linked to being members of the infamous criminal group "Miće" who, in early July, committed numerous robberies and murders in the wider areas of the municipalities of Derventa, Doboj, Modriča, Teslić... The group was founded and established by the president of the SDS Doboj branch, Milovan Ninković, "Miće". This group is charged with arson, planting explosives, murders, robbery... throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Among the accused is also Miroslav Pijunović, known as Piko, accused of participating in the beatings and murders of civilians of non-Serb nationality in the Teslić area at the beginning of the Serbian aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina, writes NAP.
