SDP BiH Sarajevo Canton will file charges with the Prosecutor's Office and the BiH CEC against SDA officials

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The SDP BiH Sarajevo Canton Organization hereby informs the public that we will file charges with the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office and the Central Election Commission of BiH, in relation to the disclosed
compromising and incriminating data from the recording of a conversation between SDA officials, announced the SDP Sarajevo Canton Organization.

“We expect an urgent reaction from the judicial authorities regarding the disclosed data, which unequivocally indicate corruption, bribery, and widespread abuse of system institutions for the purpose of achieving the private political goals of SDA leaders. We will approach the CEC with a request to permanently ban all individuals directly and indirectly involved in the malversations, manipulations, and vote-buying of city councilors during the election of the current mayor of Sarajevo from running for office and holding public positions in the executive and legislative branches,” the statement reads.

Furthermore, the SDP BiH Canton Organization will call on the BiH CEC to strictly sanction the SDA as a political entity, given that it is clear from the published recording that it involves systemic abuses and malversations in which the entire SDA political hierarchy is involved, from top to bottom. 

“Particularly shocking are the now evident indications of the use of system intelligence services to support the para-intelligence and anti-democratic activities of the SDA, which the SDP BiH has been pointing out for a long time. Bearing in mind the numerous scandals and cases of undermining the state and abusing its institutions, we believe that this is the last moment for the legal state apparatus to finally deal with all internal parasystems that threaten and undermine the constitutional and democratic order of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” they state from the SDP Sarajevo Canton Organization.
