Who is the woman on the wanted list: Experts cannot determine the identity of the arrested Elma

Elma Đušinca (21), arrested by the security agencies of Bosnia and Herzegovina on suspicion of being a courier for the so-called Islamic State, carrying out intelligence tasks for ISIL, and recruiting women to join this terrorist organization, will remain in the Immigration Center in Lukavica for at least ten more days, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

The Deputy Director of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs, Izet Nizam, told the BiH news agency Patria that experts are still determining her real first and last name. Namely, security agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina have different information; for some, she is Elma Đušinca, for others Đušnica, and most often she appears under the surname Đušinac.

Before she is extradited to Serbia, Nizam said that experts must determine her true identity, so that this case does not fall apart in court due to a trivial formal error.

Whether she, absurdly, introduced herself, is not being discussed.

Let us remind you, a decision was made to deport Elma Đušinca (21), for whom this surname is closest in identifying her, and which was confirmed by Rade Kovač from the Service for Foreigners' Affairs, from Bosnia and Herzegovina with a five-year ban on entering our country. Đušinca has Serbian citizenship, so she will be handed over to Serbia.

If Elma Đušinca has Serbian citizenship, she obtained it based on a precise identity and clear original documents of origin. Therefore, the question arises again, what is stated in the order of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs, i.e., what is the surname of this arrested person?       

All Serbian media have been reporting for days that it is Elma Đusinac.

Along with her unclear identity, the media of the neighboring country have reported accusations, according to sources from their Ministry of Internal Affairs, that the twenty-one-year-old woman is a courier for the Islamic State, and that she was tasked with recruiting women for the Islamic State, and was also engaged as a spy for that country. Furthermore, the media add that Đušinca was trained for suicide terrorist attacks.

Đušinca was arrested in Kalesija shortly after entering Bosnia and Herzegovina, based on an order from the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs, and it is also known that she stayed in BiH earlier this year. It remains unclear under what circumstances all this happened with the arrested person, especially regarding the identity of this person, for whom a warrant was issued and an arrest order was given, about whom the media knew everything, except for the exact identity, writes Patria.
