Who Signed the Letter of Intent: Zvizdić Accused Entity Prime Ministers of Burdening Farmers

Denis Zvizdić, the state prime minister, addressed the MPs during the session of the House of Representatives of the PSBiH where a set of laws to increase fuel excise duties is being adopted under an urgent procedure, but not to explain the urgency, but rather to respond to individual MPs whom he accused of twisting his words.

The increase in excise duties will most affect farmers, whose subsidies have not been increased; in fact, they are not being paid at all.

- Where did I say we would burden farmers? - Zvizdić asked MP Maja Gasal Vražalica.

When Damir Bećirović (DF) quoted a part of the letter sent to the IMF, which mentions subsidies for farmers, Zvizdić again came to the podium.

- Please, who signed the letter of intent. What you are talking about is the competence of the entities - Zvizdić stated.

Then other MPs reacted, asking Zvizdić to clarify whether he signed the letter or not.

- You cannot talk about entity prime ministers, saying we will fix it down there. Tell us what is urgent, did the IMF pressure you? - asked Željko Komšić.

Zvizdić even interjected from his seat, to which the Speaker of the House, Šefik Džaferović, reacted, asking if he was requesting to speak.

However, he finally said that it was about deadlines.

- The deadlines that were undertaken were the end of March, then they were extended to mid-April - Zvizdić added.
