Who provided the money and weapons to the hitmen in Sarajevo?

Marko Gojčević from Bar and Čaba Der from Subotica, who were arrested on Friday in Sarajevo, have been ordered into one-month detention. Weapons with silencers and a large amount of money were found with them, and they are currently charged with the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons, reports the Patria agency.

The Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecutor's Office confirmed that the investigation is ongoing. They could not reveal more information about this case.

During questioning at the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs, the duo reportedly admitted that they came to Sarajevo to carry out the liquidation of a person. An intensive investigation is underway to determine all the circumstances of their arrival in Sarajevo.

There are a number of unanswered questions. Where and when did they enter BiH? Where did they get the weapons and money from? Who ordered the alleged liquidation? Whom were they supposed to liquidate?

As Žurnal reported, this duo is linked to the Zemun clan and Naser Keljmendi's criminal group.

Montenegrin media have previously written about Gojčević, who is known for armed confrontations. Der Čaba is considered a hitman. In 2004, he confessed to killing the Novi Sad criminal Branislav Jelačić.
