Who will build the Počitelj-Zvirovići section of Corridor 5c

Today, at the headquarters of JP Autoceste FBiH d.o.o. in Mostar, a public opening of bids was held for the construction of the highway on Corridor 5c, section Počitelj – Bijača, subsection Počitelj – Zvirovići. The deadline for submitting bids was July 17, 2017, until 1 PM.

Bids for the construction of the Počitelj – Zvirovići subsection were submitted by the following companies: China Gezhouba Group Company Limited (China), Joint Venture: Strabag AG and Euro – Asfalt d.o.o. (Austria and Bosnia and Herzegovina), Cengiz Insaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. (Turkey), Joint Venture: Fernas & Ozgun Insaat (Turkey), Consortium: Azvirt Limited Liability Company and Power Construction Corporation of China Ltd (Azerbaijan and China).

After the opening of bids, the tender commission of JP Autoceste FBiH d.o.o. Mostar will thoroughly review the submitted documentation, and then select a contractor with whom a contract for the execution of the mentioned works will be signed.

The Počitelj – Zvirovići subsection is 11.75 km long, and the most significant structures on the subsection are the Počitelj bridge (945 m), an interchange with a toll station and access roads to the Buna – Domanovići regional road and the M-17 main road, three viaducts, a tunnel, and an open route. The estimated value of the works is 100 million euros. The planned construction period is 30 months.

The construction of the subsection is financed by funds secured under the loan agreement concluded with the European Investment Bank (EIB).
