Club condemns attack on bus carrying players and coaching staff of FK Sarajevo first team

Upon the return of the first team of FK Sarajevo from Bijeljina, where Sarajevo played a match in the 7th round of the BH Telecom Premier League of BiH, an incident occurred.

Namely, the bus carrying players and members of the coaching staff of FK Sarajevo was attacked by an irresponsible group of individuals, and a road robbery was carried out, which, fortunately, did not result in any injuries or worse scenarios.

The bus of the Bordeaux club was attacked with stones and cans of alcoholic beverages and suffered certain damage in the form of broken glass, while the bus driver managed to avoid a barricade set up on the road, preventing a larger incident.

- FK Sarajevo condemns last night's events, which aimed to endanger the safety and health of the players and members of the coaching staff of FK Sarajevo. Representatives of the local Police Administration have been informed about the entire incident and have launched an investigation into the event. Also, the management of FK Sarajevo expresses its regret that a group of fans of our club chose this way of expressing their dissatisfaction with the performances and results of the first team, with which no sincere fan can be satisfied - stated FK Sarajevo.
