DF Club in KS Assembly: We will demand the closure of betting shops

(Patria) - The Democratic Front MPs' Club in the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton will demand at tomorrow's session of the KS Assembly from the Government of Sarajevo Canton and the KS Crisis Staff the urgent closure of betting shops.

"Given the worsened epidemiological situation in Sarajevo Canton, we demand from the KS Government and the KS Crisis Staff to apply restrictive measures to betting shops as well. In a situation where many economic entities are denied the possibility of regular and usual business, in order to try to curb the spread of Covid 19 infection in this way, there should be no privileged ones, as has been the case so far.

There is no reason for betting shops to operate regularly in circumstances of a state of emergency, while everyone else must adhere to restrictive measures," the DF announced.
