SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Respected Gorazde journalist, social worker, and a man who considers himself Bosnian, Slavko Klisura, commented on social networks on the performance of the member of the Presidency of BiH, Milorad Dodik, with an accordion in the Presidency of BiH. We are transmitting the text in its entirety.
"To the peoples and citizens of the Dayton monstrosity, which lacks even a shred of glorious Bosnia and Herzegovina to be proud of as our ancestors once were of the former, today (yesterday, author's note), one of the three heads of the three-headed hydra handed over a hot stone by playing an accordion...
And all day long, they write about this performance as some great wonder... As if what is called a reality show in modern media language has not been happening in that 'presidential office' for years, and a real political porn show... As if the aforementioned hydra is not constantly breathing fire, but from behind...
An accordion in the Presidency! For God's sake! Who was playing? For whom? Now we will only talk about that, as if that performance is not just an echo of what has been said for years... An accordion. A performance in the Presidency. A performance for whom and for what...
And everything around us is falling apart!
Our fate is in the hands of rulers who decide about us, looking at each other askance across the /negotiating/ tables, leaving 'their' peoples in newly dug political 'trenches', /almost wrote, perhaps for the rhyme, 'pens'/. By the way, our elected officials, on occasions that suit them, tell us that we are doing well, no matter how bad things are!
And are things bad for us?
I think they are. Very, very bad!
The rich are getting richer. And they want more. The poor are getting poorer. And there are more and more of them. And we are silent.
Theft, corruption, fraud, abuse of positions and functions have ceased to be exceptions and have become the rule of functioning at all levels of government, so common and frequent that those who do not behave this way can be considered oddballs. And we are silent.
Parliamentarians have turned various assemblies and other legislative bodies into a circus and a mockery, working for the benefit of citizens to the point of dust, spending millions on enormously large salaries, and elections can never pass without a major or minor scandal. And we are silent.
Because we don't have time to think. We don't have time to speak. We don't have time to stop and say: 'None of this is good!'
We don't have time because we are playing - democracy!
Democracy that was sold to us as a scam. As a trap in which nationalist cheeses have been bait for decades.
And every now and then, one can clearly hear the trap snapping shut on our necks. Which are getting thinner. And from hunger... And they either sing. Or play.
Why wouldn't they? Their stomachs are getting bigger, as are their bank accounts at home and abroad.
While everything that constitutes the state is collapsing. Fading. Disappearing. Like thousands of those who have left or are preparing to leave.
Instead of beautiful refrains about goodness, calls for conflict resonate.
Instead of the clinking of golden spoons, the rulers of our lives are rattling weapons they want to put in the hands of the poor. And we are silent.
And only here and there does an angry sentence or message appear, like the one posed as a question: what is the difference between the USA and BiH? And the answer based on twenty-odd years of experience: the USA has a mafia as a state, while in BiH the mafia has a state.
And just one more thing. It's a shame that the former Austrian Prime Minister was not in the presidential office today (yesterday, author's note). That way, we would at least know who else that already famous accordion player was playing for."
