Klas reduces flour exports to secure domestic market

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Due to high interest and demand for flour from foreign and regional buyers, the company Klas has decided to maximally reduce, and in some countries even suspend flour exports in order to ensure sufficient quantities for the domestic market.

The decision to reduce flour exports to major export markets is a strategy of the Klas company's Management, all with the aim of stability and security for domestic consumers. The fact that the demand for flour is up to three times higher than usual calls into question the stability and supply of the domestic market, which is a priority at this moment.

Adjusting to the current situation and increasingly strict restrictions on the import of wheat and other raw materials, BiH consumers must feel secure in the sense that there will be sufficient quantities of Klas flour on the shelves.

The primary task is to protect the citizens of BiH in conditions of more than difficult procurement of raw materials, just as all other European and regional countries are doing for their domestic consumers at this moment.

Currently, the wheat market is undergoing consolidation and redefinition of quantities and business conditions initiated by wheat producers, so Klas company regularly monitors the situation and assesses the stock levels of all raw materials in order to ensure continuous and stable market supply.
