Klas d.d. Sarajevo launched the first domestic small cakes on the market

Bosnia and Herzegovina's food industry company Klas d.d. Sarajevo has launched a new product on the market. These are "Sarko small cakes" in a 450g package in five different flavors: apricot, cherry, orange, cocoa, and vanilla, Klas announced, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

- "Sarko small cakes" are the first domestic small cakes and Klas's newest product in the industrial cakes category. The price is very competitive, and the quality is excellent. The entire product is the work of Klas experts and, after the rolled cakes, the small cakes represent new value for the "Sarko" brand, whose market demand has positively surprised all of us. With "Sarko small cakes", we have announced the beginning of a major innovation project at Klas this year, with the ultimate goal of strengthening brands and market share - these are the words of Rusmir Hrvić, director of the company Klas d.d. Sarajevo.

In the past year 2014, with a total production of over 344 tons, an increase in the realization of Klas's industrial cakes, led by the "Sarko" brand, was recorded, by 150 percent compared to 2013.

Testing of the new product was carried out in Klas's quality laboratory, adhering to the highest global standards and criteria. At the very beginning, the product is planned to be positioned at around 4,000 points of sale on the domestic market, while increased interest from foreign buyers is already being recorded.

Since March 2014, Klas has been part of AS GROUP, which employs a total of 2,800 workers and within which, in addition to Klas d.d. Sarajevo, the companies AS d.o.o. Jelah, Vispak d.d. from Visoko, Oaza d.o.o. Tešanj, Sprind d.d. Sarajevo, Mlin i pekara Ljubače - Tuzla, Napredak d.d. Tešanj, Fortitudo d.o.o. Travnik, and Vemal d.d. Tešanj operate.
