Kiribati already in the New Year 2025, Hawaii residents will be the last to celebrate

(Patira) - New Year is being celebrated around the world. The residents of the Pacific states of Samoa and Kiribati were the first to enter 2025, and the residents of American Samoa, Hawaii, and the island of Hauland will be the last to celebrate the New Year.

The Pacific states of Samoa and Kiribati were the first to step into 2025 at 11 AM Central European Time.

Kiritimati, better known as Christmas Island, is the easternmost part of the Pacific island nation of Kiribati.

The residents of Kiritimati Island are accustomed to being the first to enter the new year.

An hour later, the New Year will also arrive in New Zealand.

Australia is expected to traditionally welcome the New Year with thousands of fireworks over Sydney Harbour.

After the smallest continent, the new year, 2025, will reach Japan, North and South Korea, followed by China, Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

The New Year arrives in Europe two hours before Montenegro. Moscow, Istanbul... celebrate the entry into the year 2025 at 10 PM.

An hour later, Helsinki, Kyiv, Bucharest, Athens... celebrate the New Year.

Then, the New Year arrives in most of Europe, which is in the Central European Time Zone, including the citizens of Montenegro.
