Chinese President Xi Jinping concludes European tour

(Patria) - Chinese President Xi Jinping concluded his European tour with a visit to Budapest.

The focus of the talks with the country's leadership was on Chinese infrastructure projects in Hungary.

A battery factory worth seven billion and 300 million euros is under construction in Debrecen.

Chinese electric car manufacturer BYD announced last year that it would build its first factory in Europe in Szeged.

- We thank you for the economic cooperation that brings the best and most modern technologies in electromobility, rail transport, and the IT sector to Hungary - said Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to Xi.

- We will better connect our development strategies. We will deepen economic, trade, investment, and financial cooperation. We will advance the Budapest-Belgrade railway and other key projects - stated Xi Jinping.
