Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Belgrade

(Patria) - Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Belgrade on an official two-day visit on Tuesday evening. He was welcomed at "Nikola Tesla" Airport by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and members of the Government. The Serbian Armed Forces Guard was lined up in his honor. Serbian "Migs" escorted the Chinese president's plane from the border.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, along with his wife Tamara Vučić, welcomed the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, and his wife, Professor Peng, and on that occasion told the Chinese president that this visit had done a great honor to the Serbian land and people, who sincerely love China and appreciate the friendship of that country.

"Dear President Xi, esteemed friend, welcome to Serbia! With this visit, you have done a great honor to our country and people, who sincerely love China and appreciate the friendship of your great country. The vision of the world you advocate has also given inspiration and strength to our small country, which today bravely and proudly strides on the path of progress and success," Vučić wrote on his Instagram page buducnostsrbijeav.

.Vučić told Xi that Serbia wishes to reciprocate with sincere hospitality, at least in a small part, for all the support that the Chinese president selflessly provides to Serbia.

"Long live the iron friendship between Serbia and China, which has been tempered in difficult times and which we will continue to cherish through mutual respect, understanding, and firm support," Vučić concluded.
