Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to visit Moscow

(Patria) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi are scheduled to hold talks in Moscow on September 18, said the spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova during a briefing on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), Tass reported.

"On September 18, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Chinese Foreign Minister
Wang Yi will hold talks in Moscow," she said.

"They are expected to exchange views on the Ukrainian settlement, as well as on ensuring stability and
security in the Asia-Pacific region," she added.

Zakharova points out that at the meeting, the ministers will focus on a wide range of bilateral issues, including communication at the highest and high levels.

"They will pay attention to closer cooperation in the international arena with an emphasis on joint work in the UN, BRICS, SCO, and of course, in the G20, APEC, and other mechanisms and forums," she said.
