(Patria) - Chinese state hackers intercepted phone calls of American political figures, including an unnamed advisor in the campaign of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, the Washington Post reported on Sunday, Reuters reported.
The FBI and the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency announced on Friday that they are investigating unauthorized access to commercial telecommunications infrastructure by individuals linked to China.
Reuters reported on Friday that Chinese hackers also targeted phones used by people connected to the campaign of Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
