The Municipal Court in Sarajevo found Kenan Brbović guilty of the criminal offense of association for the purpose of committing criminal offenses and the criminal offense of aggravated theft, the Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton announced, reports the Patria News Agency.
He was sentenced to three years and eight months in prison in the first instance. Brbović's pre-trial detention has been extended for nine months or until a new court decision.
As a reminder, in May last year, Brbović was arrested by the Sarajevo police after a multi-hour chase. He and Amar Bašić, who was also arrested with him, spent the entire night robbing stores along the route from Ilidža to Vogošća.
The Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo filed the indictment in August last year.
