(Patria) - Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated yesterday that there will be zero tolerance for Gaza residents approaching the border with Israel, after dozens of Palestinians in northern Gaza were only a few hundred meters away from Israeli troops.
"Israel's defense policy towards Gaza is clear - anyone who enters the buffer zone puts their life in danger," Katz said in a statement, as reported by The Times of Israel.
According to him, "there will be zero tolerance for anyone who poses a threat to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers or the border fence and communities."
