Karišik and Hadžibajrić handed over to the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office

(Patria) - Elmedin Karišik and Seid Hadžibajrić, who were arrested yesterday as part of the "Start 2" operation on charges of organized crime and money laundering, have been handed over to the jurisdiction of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office for further proceedings.

Police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, carried out yesterday the operational action code-named "Start 2" with the aim of documenting and shedding light on criminal acts of organized crime.

By orders of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo, searches were conducted at several locations in the area of Sarajevo Canton, where items requested by the Order were found and seized, which will be used in further criminal proceedings.

The Cantonal Prosecutor's Office will make a decision on further proceedings against the suspects within the legal deadline, after the prosecuting attorney examines them.

Both were also arrested last year, and the state prosecutor Džermin Pašić handled the case. After several months, they were released.
