
(Patria) - Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina Enes Karić received the Honorary Consul of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Austria Jörg Hofreiter.
Karić informed the guest about the competencies and tasks that the Directorate's officers perform on a daily basis.
He also highlighted the importance of the Directorate as one of the police agencies at the state level, and its role in the security system of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He stated that the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH continuously works on building and strengthening its capacities, with significant support from the Republic of Austria, particularly emphasizing the long-standing friendship between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Austria.
The Honorary Consul of BiH in the Republic of Austria, based in Graz, who participated in the EU mission in BiH, informed Karić about the role of the police in the Austrian legal system. He paid special attention to the participation of young people in police work, gender equality within police structures, and the importance of the profession for society as a whole.
Hofreiter presented Karić with a "Police Glossary," containing police terms in Bosnian, Serbian, Croatian, German, and English, and expressed confidence that it will assist all police officers in BiH in performing their duties, the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH announced.
