After the suspects Balijagić Faruk and Balijagić Ado were questioned by the prosecuting prosecutors, a decision was made to propose detention for these suspects. The same proposal has been sent to the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo for a decision, it was announced by the KS Prosecutor's Office, reports the BH News Agency Patria.
Namely, according to the evidence obtained by this Prosecutor's Office, there is a well-founded suspicion that the suspects Balijagić Faruk and Balijagić Ado committed the criminal offenses of incitement to murder, robbery, and serious criminal offenses against public safety of people and property in complicity, and since there is a real danger for this Prosecutor's Office that these suspects would obstruct the criminal proceedings by going to the Republic of Croatia (both individuals have Croatian citizenship, numerous properties, and residence in that country); that by remaining at liberty they would influence witnesses whose testimonies determine the outcome of this criminal proceeding; that they are well-founded suspects of committing multiple criminal offenses and that their release (given the profession of the first suspect and his relationship with the second suspect) would result in a real threat to public order, detention has been proposed for these suspects.
This Prosecutor's Office still does not have information on when the hearing will be held at which the suspects will declare themselves on the Prosecutor's Office's proposal.
